Dear humanitarians,
2012 has gone in like the wind! We can't believe it's already the end of the year and time for summer (and hopefully some relaxation).
You are all invited to come along to our wrap up event in Titirangi on Sunday the 18th November, starting from 3pm. Please see our Chapter Network event for more details - http://auckland.architectureforhumanity.org/events/2948
Here we will reflect on our year - an exciting one as it marks the changeover of chapter leadership to Piet and I. Looking back at this year, it has been quite busy with various initiatives and projects, many which will be ongoing into the next year.

Even this weekend has been full of AfH activities. AfH-AKL had a team create a very successful space repurposed from a parking space on K Road with the Space Invaders event in Art Week. Our chapter also had a team participate in the Architecture Week Design Charette organised by Jasmax which allowed our interdisciplinary team to get their thinking hats on.
Most of all we thank you for all of your support and effort doing good for the community via AfH-AKL in 2012. We hope there will be many great opportunities come up in the coming year - be sure to let us know if you know of a project we could help out with. I hope to see you at the wrap up event, otherwise, have a great holiday season and we will see you in the new year!
Kind regards,
Bobby on behalf of AfH-AKL
Get involved!
Feel free to jump into the opportunities listed above, especially if you have expertise in certain areas. The team at AFH AKL are still firming up some details about various projects, we will let you know and post them as an 'opportunity' on the Chapter Network.
Cheers,
Bobby

Cheers,
